Moraes determines Federal Police to include Oswaldo Eustaquio’s name in the Interpol list
The Federal Supreme Court (STF)Minister, Alexandre de Moraes, determined to Federal Police (PF) to include Oswaldo Eustáquio’s name in the Interpol red list. If the inclusion is made, his name would appear on the list of wanted by Justice.
Eustáquio is part of the investigation of ‘anti-democratic’ acts. He has already been arrested more than once by order of Moraes.
On December 12 of last year, Estáquio entered the Alvorada Palace during the acts against the Federal Police headquarters in Brasília (DF). Since then, he has lived in Paraguay.
According to Veja magazine, the letter in which Moraes asked the PF to include Eustáquio’s name on the Interpol list reached the corporation on July 7, but, so far, his name has not been included.
In a note, Eustáquio’s defense said it will appeal the decision. His lawyer, Ricardo Freire Vasconcellos, said he is a “political refugee from persecution”.
